There’s no denying that the last couple of years have been tough for most of us, throw into the mix the spiralling cost of living crisis and it all paints a pretty bleak picture. As the year draws to a close and we reflect on what has been yet another difficult year for small businesses, we wanted to take the time to look at all of the positives and the things we can appreciate.
First of all, we would like to say a massive, heart-felt thank you to our loyal customers for your business. Over the years, we see customers returning time after time and we get a lot of recommendations. It’s the little things that make such a big impact. To a small, family run business like us, customer loyalty & support is hugely important and makes our commitment to excellent customer service, very easy!
Of course, running a successful business is not possible without dedicated and committed staff. We are incredibly lucky to have such a great team and can’t thank them all enough for their hard work, enthusiasm and sense of humour! Big shout out to Neil, Liam, Paul, Norman, Scott, Michael & Jockey for helping us to make it all happen.
As well as being a big part of the Doors & Floors family, it has also been quite a busy year for Neil and Liam from our Blaydon branch. Neil and his lovely wife Kathryn, welcomed their baby girl Georgie to the world and Liam was finally made an honest man of when he married the beautiful Hannah at a wonderful autumnal service in Beamish Hall – Congratulations to you all!
